I wonder why the eps in the third season don't give you the titles on them. I'm a bit confused with the third season. Why on earth did Frank's hair go white at the end of the 2nd seaon and now it's back to the normal color? He keeps saying he had two mental breakdowns. Was that when Catherine died and when he had that weird experience in the doctor's office in S1? I don't like Peter Watts this season. Hope he's able to redeem himself later.

What do you mean the third season episodes don't give you the titles?
I'm thinking Frank's hair went white because of the trauma of losing Catherine. (I've heard of people's hair going gray after a very traumatic experience.) I don't know why it went back to normal unless he started dying it. I think the first mental breakdown happened some years before the time of the series. (I think it was in "walkabout" where Catherine tells Bob Bletcher about Frank's breakdown five years before and that she's worried that something similar is happening. She also alluded to it with Peter when he asked her about Frank using the name David Marx.)

On the screen they don't list the titles in S3. But Frank's hair went white at the end of S2 and at the beginning of S3 it wasn't anymore. Suddenly, several eps in, it's white again! Ohh, I remember that ep, where Frank was someone else. Poor Frank.
Do you remember the ep where they find the frozen hands? Sometimes it appeared they where in China, I guess, and at other times they seemed to be in the US. What's up with that? Did Frank travel to China?

I never really paid much attention to the titles being on the screen. Now that you mention it I do remember them being there in the second season.
That's a good episode (Bardo Thodol). I think they were in the U.S. the whole time. (The ship the hands were found on came from China or Japan though.) Frank just went to a Buddhist temple and the Chinatown or Japantown area of the city he was in. (Washington D.C.? I know the third season takes place around Washington and Virginia)

Well, when that man died they were up in snow covered mountains. But I guess we have those in the US, even when it's warm. Of course, I don't even know what time of year that took place. I forget the title of the one ep, but I was amused with the ep that took place around Christmas. They had the sound of bells between each segment of the ep. Funny.

At one part in Bardo Thodol, they enter a temple in an "American" (Canadian) city and also go to detention/immigration camp for the ship's crew.
I think the Christmas episode was the one with the Mafia hitman healed and reformed by those forest faery girls?

Yes, that's the one, Ebdim! I loved that ep. I also like how Jordan gave her gift that was meant for Catherine, to the girls. So sweet.

It really was great. Somebody on the dvds complained about Milllennium being more fairy-tale like as the seasons went on, but, I wondered, what show were they participating in? Did they walk on to the wrong studio lot or something? Right from the start, the show always had those surreal flashes, even Jordan's dream of an evil clown hanging upside-down from the ceiling while her daddy walked down an endless spiral staircase, finally on up to that Christmas episode and beyond.

Bizarre. Millennium has a total X-Files quality to it!

Not surprising since both series were created by Chris Carter.
Have you seen the "Millennium" episode of the X-Files? (It's included in the third season Millennium set on the special features disc. If you didn't get it with the discs you have I'll keep my eyes open for when it will be airing on the Sci-Fi channel.)

I'll see if I can find when it's playing on the Sci-fi channel. (It probably won't be for a few months since they're on the first season at the 2am time and the eighth season at 4pm.) I'd be glad to tape it for you if you want.

Oh, cool. That would be awesome. You know I may have seen it way back when. I do know that Frank was on X-Files.

I know everybody involved, looking back, panned it, but I like any episode with zombies in it.
