Yay Terry!!! ;D ;D ;D
I loved his outfit! The pink shirt was a great color on him (nice to see him in something other than brown and green). And so sweet to give the love to Michael Emerson (who also looked fabulous).
Huzzah for Terry finally getting his due!!!!!!!

Terry really looked like he slimmed down a lot.

Since when? He had lost a lot of weight starting in S1. You think he lost more?

Terry's winning speech is simply a perfect complement to his Emmy win. He is so deserving of this honor for he makes Locke such a compelling, must-see character across a myriad of circumstances and character changes.
His speech as eloquent, magnanimous, and incredibly humorous. He was so wonderful to his family, and so honorific to his colleagues on cast and crew, especially the also-amazing Michael Emerson. What a grand speech to put the spotlight back on Mr. Emerson.
Kudos Mr. O'Quinn, for your body of work, your person and for some well-deserved recognition. We look forward to many more great things!

Oops, and P.S., Mrs. Mang thought he was quite hot in that outfit! I mistakenly said it was pink and grey, luckily Kat caught me and corrected it as black.
Quite a stunning look for a great evening!

I appreciate the correction, and your graciousness in welcoming me to the TOQ forums.
I've looked back at the Emmy speech a couple of times, and can't beleive how smooth and well-delivered it was. It was refreshingly gracious, and surprisingly succinct. Amazingly well done, and an enjoyable second (and third) view.

Every time I watch T's speech I get that little thrill hearing them announce him as the winner! I wonder if T had the speech prepared or if it was off the cuff. I'll always welcome a fellow Locke/TOQ fan.

I'm really disappointed and surprised Terry didn't make the short list for this year's Emmies. I guess we can be thankful he had his win, and maybe now it'll be Michael Emerson's turn to take the statue home. Fingers crossed... But he still should have made the shortlist - well before William Shatner, anyway!!! blech.
